This master plan is focused on setting up a new urban image through the reinterpretation of urban structure and proposing a program solution for creating the urban image that has been set up. Three layers of the past reckless development(Vernacular Code), the present ecological coexistence(Ecological Code) and the future IT environment city(Virtual Code) will be the index of creating an urban image that Woonjeong new town in Paju should have. This plan presents four networks of Nature, Axis, Neighborhood and Alley based on these three layers, as a substantial method to realize the urban image, which will help to build a communication city that traffic lines and required programs are completely prepared.
