Sinjeong 3rd district has potential to develop as a hub city of Gangnam area, Seoul. It is a district on which Greenbelt Act restriction was lifted. It has abundant forests and sufficient water system. This project started with the presentation of not only a development method for the area on which the restriction was first lifted but only a solution for future similar types of development. It has achieved the restoration of natural environment in greenbelt-restriction-lifted area, the connection of ecological axes through Eco Bridge and the integration of man and nature. It has smoothly connected the living street circulating the central district and the neighboring living area. It has provided the pedestrians' traffic line under eco-friendly and water-friendly environment passing through the entire district. Finally, It has created differentiated outdoor spaces for each community to correspond to the geographical features.
