The purpose of research is making new system or product. Researchers always seek the cutting-edge and research facilities must facilitate such efforts. Pangyo Technology Industry-Academy R&D Center is a project where Kunwon’s various design technologies for research facilities were integrated. It was also designed for creating synergies among specialists in various fields.

The main issue of Pangyo Technology Industry-Academy R&D Center is minimizing interference from nearby buildings and creating efficient access and frontal image in an irregularly-shaped site. To secure amenities, an atrium was placed at the center of the building and an outdoor deck was created for active communication among researchers.
