Concert hall which can distinguish the best tone color of Daegu city orchestra. Designed to show the utmost sound performance through the thorough sound simulation having long reverberation time and a great sound with the shoebox type preferred taditionally for the excellent sound quality and with the modified shoebox type applying arena type which is much familiar with the audience. 2. Two Culture Plazas named as 'Plaza Muse' and 'Town Plaza' opened for the citizen. Like the Plaza of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, they will be the places of citizen that extends the feast mood of the art culture performing various cultural events, interacting with the citizens. Also it was planned that people can easity access the neighborhood life facilities and plazas from Taepyeungno, Taepyeungno underground shopping area and Jungangno through pleasant green zone and water space. In particular, a specialized road surrounding was created which has exceptional recognizability and convenience by planning the green gallery in liason with 'the horizontally opened stores' using the slope of site. 3. 'Melody performed with the light, Daegu Symphony Hall' The up-light illumination emphasizing the facet of canopy curve, the LED lights embeded and the spot lights enriching the volume of performance will add plentiful emotion to this city together with the music and will spread out the fever of culture and arts to the whole city, inducing the citizens to this place.
