This project is to tear down the existing office building(7 storied) of Jeil Pharmaceutical, located on the Sapyeong-ro close to Banpo IC of Gyeongbu Expressway, and to re-build it after combining it with nearby 5-storied building. Considering that this area is prone to floods during the rainy season because of lower level of ground, the level of the first floor was raised by 1.5m, and an emphasis was placed on giving the awareness and sense of place to the building. An advertising tower that can be seen from the Gyeongbu Expressway was installed and the number of parking cars that can cope with the future rental demand (1st floor~6th floor) ws secured by installing the mechanical parking lot and self parking lot side by side under the ground. By securing the public space at the front and side, the entry of the cars was induced and by placing the ground parking lot at the backside of the site, the flow of the pedestrians and cars was separated.
