This project site located in Baekgung-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam City, is a central commercial district and urban design district (Baekgung Jeongja District). This long rectangular site to the south and north is facing the Seongnam Road and Tancheon to the east and it is close to Bundang-Suseo Expressway and Gyeonbu Highway to the west. The focus in planning this residential officetel on rectangular site was placed on the maximization of sunlight and view and the production of the design to offset the heaviness of the subsequent mass. Accordingly, this site was planned to make the view of Tancheon possible along the the Namdaero side, and by dividing the long mass of about 160m largely into two parts, the sense of burden from the street was offset, providing the courtyard type open space at the same time. In addition, to reduce the sense of weight of the mass in elevation plan, the size of the all windows was maximized, stressing the sense of 'Void', and by partially inserting the 'Solid' concept, the frame of the whole mass was settled down.
